Join the Lancaster Museum of Art in a gala celebration of this
years¹
featured marque, the Ford Thunderbird.
The beautiful grounds of Bridge Acres Stables, 1470 Hunsicker Road, will be
your backdrop as you sip champagne, listen to jazz, and stroll amid classic
motor vehicles, including some of the finest examples of this year's
featured vehicles.
Artistry in Motion, 2006 Vintage Tour & Show is open to most pre-1974
non-modified vehicles. The Thunderbird automobile and motorcycle will be the featured marque, although other makes and models are invited to participate in this event.
The tour consists of vintage vehicles (automobiles only) assembling at the
Lancaster Museum of Art, 135 North Lime Street in downtown Lancaster. From
there these exquisite vehicles will tour to their final destination, Bridge
Acres Stables, along the Conestoga River. At Bridge Acres, the touring
participants will join non-touring show cars and motorcycles for the rest of
the festivities. Tour/Show and Show Only vehicles will have separate display
areas. All automobiles must be properly restored, insured, and responsibly
driven. The public is invited to Bridge Acres to view these magnificent
machines, share in the gourmet luncheon, watch the Awards Parade and
participate in the judging procedures. Proceeds help support the children's
educational programs at the musuem. |
